Are you a German-speaking, ambitious, self-motivated and detail-orientated individual looking to contribute to meaningful change for thousands of young people? If so, we want you to join The Ladder Group as an Associate in our Campaigns team.

At The Ladder Group, we believe in creating incredible careers for everyone. That’s the purpose that drives everything we do across our business and charity – helping organisations build exceptional talent pipelines while improving access to opportunities for young people. We’re a fast-growing, ambitious and energetic team working across recruitment, talent engagement and social impact. Since launching in 2021, we’ve grown rapidly and partnered with clients across industries including banking, insurance, consumer goods, beauty, technology and nonprofits.

Our work spans graduate and early careers recruitment campaigns, insight days, work experience programmes, attraction events and social impact initiatives – all focused on helping organisations engage and hire exceptional future talent. We’re collaborative, people-focused and genuinely passionate about the work we do. We work hard, move quickly and have a lot of fun while doing it.

The Associate role is a key member of the Campaigns team – playing an important role in the delivery of recruitment campaigns, talent engagement projects and social impact programmes. We’re firm believers in ‘practise what you preach’, so almost all of our internal hiring is focused on high-capability juniors, who learn our market, methodology and countless key skills, and are able to grow and develop with our organisation.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, approaching and building relationships with candidates – typically young people, with limited or no work experience. We see ourselves as guides and educators – identifying what people would be good at and where they would fit, and explaining these sectors/industries/functions to them.
  • Supporting candidates through client interview processes, preparing them for interviews and supporting them to be successful.
  • Managing hiring processes to create a fantastic experience for the businesses we work with, and our candidates.

We are looking for intelligent, curious, inherently kind, motivated, thoughtful and driven people to join our team. If that’s you, and you want to join a business with ambitious growth plans, gaining exposure to every element of how a business works, working with fantastic people and clients, and contributing to delivering meaningful change for thousands of young people from low-income families in the UK, then you could be the right person for us.

Role Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1) with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong organisational & project management abilities with an eye for detail.
  • The confidence to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a quickly changing environment.

Compensation and benefits:

  • £30k salary with the opportunity to earn additional bonuses.
  • 25 Days holiday + bank holidays, and we’re closed over Christmas.
  • Work from home Wednesdays.
  • Free dinners in the office on Uber Eats if you’re working late.
  • A company Uber account for taxis home if you stay late.
  • Health insurance through Vitality which includes free GP appointments, discounted gym memberships and perks like free coffees and cinema tickets.
