As our ManagementAccountant, you will play a key role within the UK & Ireland Finance team,ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across our UK andIreland entities.
You will own keymonth-end processes, statutory reporting requirements, and balance sheetcontrols while partnering with stakeholders across the business to delivertimely financial insights and support decision-making.
This is an excitingopportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to broaden theirmanagement accounting experience within a dynamic, collaborative, andfast-paced retail environment.
Your responsibilities:
- OwnMonth-End Reporting & Financial Close: Manage month-end accountingactivities for the UK & Ireland entities, including stock adjustments,accruals, journals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financialreporting.
- MaintainFinancial Controls & Compliance: Prepare VAT returns, support balancesheet reconciliations, oversee vendor and bank master data, and ensure allinternal controls and finance procedures are consistently followed.
- PartnerAcross the Business: Collaborate closely with Marketing and otherdepartments to review spend, monitor budgets against forecasts, and ensureaccurate cost recognition through monthly accruals and reporting.
- ManageStatutory & External Reporting: Prepare quarterly VAT, Intrastat, andONS submissions while supporting year-end activities, audit requirements, andcompliance obligations.
- DriveContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting,strengthen financial controls, improve processes, and deliver valuable analysisto support senior leadership and business performance.
- Support Wider Finance Operations: Provide support acrossfinance activities including credit control cover, employee expense processing,internal audits, ad hoc reporting, and project work as required.
