Web Content and Campaigns Officer – The Labour Party
Join to apply for the Web Content and Campaigns Officer role at The Labour Party. The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Web Content and Campaigns Officer. The post‑holder will manage the party\’s local and national websites, acting as the first point of contact across the organisation for any work involving them. You will drive innovation to ensure the website meets its engagement and fundraising goals, communicating our success in government and working towards our income targets.
Salary: ÂŁ40,974.13 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of ÂŁ1,153. There is the ability to progress to ÂŁ47,180.45 over the next 3 years. An additional ÂŁ3,650 will be added to the salary if the role is based in our London Head Office.
Location: Head Office – Newcastle, Head Office – London, or Remote
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Manage the party’s local and national websites
- Act as a first point of contact across the organisation for all website work
- Drive innovation to meet engagement, fundraising and list growth goals
- Ensure the website showcases the achievements and policies of the government
- Work with colleagues to provide engaging content that hits engagement, fundraising and list growth targets
Qualifications
- Understanding of the principles of good digital content across a wide range of platforms
- Understanding of political communications and campaign messaging
- Experience using WordPress sites or similar content management systems
- Excellent project management skills
