Salary: £44,624.13 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,153. There is the ability to progress to £50,830.45 over the next 3 years.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Policy Advisor – Economy. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the development and communication of Labour Party policy, and holding Labour’s political opponents to account, in relation to economic policy.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge/understanding of recent developments in economic policy and how they relate to the political environment
- Experience of policy development and political research
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including other internal Labour Party departments and politicians
- Strategic mindset with the ability to operationalise political strategy
