IT Project Lead

Location: Head Office Newcastle. We will also consider remote and London-based applications

Duration: A fixed-term contract until 19 December 2025.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit an IT Project Lead. The post-holder will be responsible for leading complex IT infrastructure projects, particularly cloud migrations and infrastructure modernisation. Ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards through effective governance, resource management, and stakeholder communication.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies (particularly Azure) and migration methodologies
• Proven experience managing complex IT projects, particularly cloud migrations
• Track record of successful vendor management and contract negotiations
• Strong financial management including budget forecasting and optimisation
