Role: Regional Digital Officer – Eastern (Maternity cover)

Salary: £42,203.35 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,764. This is a Regular Driver Role so also attracts a car allowance of £5000 (gross) per annum, subject to internal checks.

Location: Eastern Regional Office - Harlow

Duration: A fixed-term maternity cover for 12 months.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Digital Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering winning digital campaigns and upskilling others to do the same.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of the political landscape in the UK and nation or region
  • Experience of working on multi-platform digital campaigns in a political capacity
  • Experience of working with political stakeholders

Please note that this is a Regular Driver Role and there is a requirement to be able to drive and own a compliant car in this role. Any successful applicant who does not drive or own a compliant car will receive a conditional job offer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract which requires the successful applicant to hold a full UK driving licence and compliant car within 12 months of their start date. If at the end of the 12 months the employee does not have both a full UK driving licence and a compliant car then the contract will terminate. A driving licence is required for this role due to operational requirements including travel between multiple locations and transportation of campaign materials. Candidates who cannot drive due to disability are encouraged to apply as reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010.
