Salary: £32,246.69 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,195. Car Allowance: £5,000 (gross) per annum – subject to internal checks.

Location: Barnsley

Duration: Fixed‑term contract 12 months.

Position Overview: The post‑holder will be responsible for all aspects of Labour Party organization and campaigning within electorally important areas, as determined by the Regional Director. They will build and maintain party organization and activity, establish effective election and campaign organization working in liaison with staff teams, local candidates, elected representatives, Labour Party officers, campaign committees, Constituency Labour Parties, branches and labour groups.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Party organization at branch, constituency, and regional level.
  • Experience of organizing a campaign.
  • Experience of working with volunteers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver work to agreed deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Regular Driver Role – must be able to drive and own a compliant car within 12 months of start date.
  • Hold a valid driving licence due to operational requirements, including travel between multiple locations and transportation of campaign materials.
