Location: London

We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our growing team delivering groundworks, piling, and foundation packages across residential and commercial projects in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment
  • Establishing gridlines, datums, and benchmarks
  • Setting out foundations (strip, trench fill, raft, pile caps & ground beams)
  • Overseeing piling works (predominantly bored piling)
  • Setting out drainage and service runs
  • Reporting to a Project Engineer
  • Working closely with site managers, other Site Engineers, operatives on site, and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in groundworks and foundation projects
  • Strong knowledge of piling and substructure works
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings
  • Proficient with surveying instruments
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations
  • CSCS card (essential)
