TLG Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large build project involving basement construction, new superstructure, structural alterations, associated civils and temporary works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project from planning and procurement through construction and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the construction of deep basement and RC structural works.
  • Coordinate and oversee temporary works, including excavation support, propping, shoring, and associated engineering requirements.
  • Lead project planning, programming, and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, temporary works designers, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage programme interfaces between temporary works, excavation, and permanent RC construction activities.
  • Drive efficient project delivery while maintaining high technical and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing basement construction, reinforced concrete structures, and temporary works packages.
  • Strong understanding of excavation support systems, temporary works procedures, and RC construction methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex site operations.
  • Relevant construction or civil engineering qualification.
  • Knowledge of project planning software and commercial management processes.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and other relevant site management certifications preferred.
