Overview

A well-established M&E contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of small fit out projects across Central London.

This is a hands‑on contract role focused on fast‑paced, technically sound delivery, working on multiple short‑duration schemes within commercial environments.

The Role

• Manage the mechanical package on multiple small fit out projects
• Take projects from pre‑construction through to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Review drawings, technical information and RAMS
• Manage variations, cost control and reporting
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams
• Drive commissioning, snagging and handover

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within fit out or small works
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services installations
• Experience delivering projects in live commercial environments
• Ability to manage multiple fast‑track projects concurrently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS preferred
