We are working with an exciting, forward-thinking building services contractor that is continuing to grow across London and the South East. Due to continued project wins, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their senior delivery team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious business delivering high-quality mechanical projects across the commercial, education, and high-end residential sectors.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing schemes from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring successful commercial and operational delivery throughout.
The Role- Managing multiple mechanical projects with values ranging from £2m up to £10m mechanical
- Overseeing a combined portfolio value of up to £15m
- Taking projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Leading and supporting Project Managers reporting directly into you
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Client-facing role, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout project delivery
- Working closely with commercial and pre-construction teams
- Providing regular reporting to senior leadership on programme, commercial performance, and project risk
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager within the building services sector
- Strong background delivering commercial, education, and high-end residential projects
- Experience running multiple live projects simultaneously
- Must have managed projects up to £15m combined mechanical value
- Excellent commercial awareness and contractual understanding
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Stable career history with reputable M&E contractors
- Ability to manage teams, programmes, and client expectations effectively
- Salary between £85,000 - £90,000
