TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a leading contractor with multiple projects in Central London.
Their projects can range from £10M - £70M involving full build construction from demolition, basement construction and construction of RC Frame.
Setting Out Engineer responsibilities:
- Set out construction works accurately from drawings and specifications.
- Establish and maintain site control points and benchmarks.
- Carry out surveying using total stations, GPS and other equipment.
- Check levels, dimensions, lines and positions on site.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical support to the site team and subcontractors.
- Carry out as-built surveys and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or setting-out issues.
- Ensure work meets quality, safety and project requirements.
- Maintain surveying equipment and complete relevant site documentation.
