We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our growing team delivering groundworks, piling, and foundation packages across residential and commercial projects in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment
- Establishing gridlines, datums, and benchmarks
- Setting out foundations (strip, trench fill, raft, pile caps & ground beams)
- Overseeing piling works (predominantly bored piling)
- Setting out drainage and service runs
- Reporting to a Project Engineer
- Working closely with site managers, other Site Engineers, operatives on site, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundworks and foundation projects
- Strong knowledge of piling and substructure works
- Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings
- Proficient with surveying instruments
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- CSCS card (essential)
