A Tier 1 building services contractor with an annual turnover exceeding £80 million is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Project Engineer to join their growing sustainability and project delivery team. This role is designed for a graduate who wants to build a long-term career in mechanical building services while specialising in low‑carbon design, sustainable construction and energy‑efficient building solutions. You will be exposed to high‑value, technically complex projects and supported through structured training and development.
The Role
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of mechanical building services packages
- Assisting with sustainable design solutions and low‑carbon strategies
- Working with technologies including heat pumps, energy‑efficient HVAC systems, renewables and BMS integration
- Monitoring site progress, quality and installation standards
- Supporting commissioning, testing and handover documentation
- Learning cost control, procurement and project reporting
- Liaising with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar
- Strong interest in sustainability, carbon reduction and energy efficiency
- Understanding of HVAC and building services principles
