TLG are currently working with a leading main contractor with a turnover in excess of £500m, who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a major fire remediation and cladding project in South London. This is a high-profile, long-term scheme within the social housing sector, offering the opportunity to take full operational ownership of a complex, multi-phase programme.

The Role

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of a 2-year fire remediation/cladding project, consisting of 21 residential blocks delivered across 3 phases. Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee multiple site teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle management of fire remediation and cladding works
  • Overseeing multiple site teams across a phased programme
  • Ensuring strict compliance with fire safety and regulatory standards
  • Driving programme delivery using Microsoft Project and 4Projects
  • Managing subcontractors, client relationships, and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintaining strong commercial oversight, including cost control and reporting
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld across all sites

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment
  • Demonstrable experience delivering fire remediation/cladding projects
  • Strong background working within the social housing sector
  • High level of commercial awareness

  • Ability to manage multi-phase, multi-site programmes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
