TLG Infrastructure are looking for an experienced
Groundworks Foreman to join our team on a busy civil engineering project involving groundworks, drainage, and earthworks .
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily groundworks, drainage, and earthworks activities.
- Organise labour, plant, and materials to meet programme requirements.
- Ensure work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
- Read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager, Engineers, and subcontractors.
- Carry out daily briefings and ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Monitor progress and report any issues or delays.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman on civil engineering projects.
- Good knowledge of drainage, earthworks, and groundworks operations.
- Ability to lead and motivate site teams.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Valid CSCS card (Supervisor/Manager level preferred).
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- First Aid at Work certificate (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
