We are working with a well-established £90m turnover M E contractor specialising in high-quality commercial fit-out projects across the City of London. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver projects up to £15m in value.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of electrical packages on fast-paced commercial fit-out projects, managing them from Stage 3 design through to completion and handover. All projects are City of London-based, offering consistency of location and minimal travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing electrical packages on commercial fit-out projects up to £5m
  • Taking projects from Stage 3 design through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover
  • Coordinating with design teams, main contractors, and clients
  • Managing subcontractors, labour, and materials
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Overseeing health safety compliance on site
  • Attending progress meetings and producing project reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Project Manager
  • Previous experience within the commercial fit-out sector (preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering projects from Stage 3 design
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
  • Relevant electrical qualification
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
