TLG Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a civil engineering project involving earthworks, ground stabilisation and associated infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out setting out and surveying duties using GPS, total stations and other site equipment
  • Interpret drawings, specifications and design information
  • Establish control points, levels and coordinates across the project
  • Manage and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures
  • Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and setting-out data
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments and inspection test plans (ITPs)
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors and the client’s representatives
  • Monitor works to ensure compliance with design, specifications and tolerances
  • Assist with technical queries and problem solving on site
  • Support daily site operations and programme delivery

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience in setting out for civil engineering and earthworks projects
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
  • Competent in the use of surveying equipment and software
  • Knowledge of ground stabilisation techniques (desirable)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • CSCS card (or equivalent)
