We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Operative (Dumper / Roller Driver) to join a substation project in Pembroke. This is a great opportunity for skilled operatives with a strong background in civil works and plant operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drainage installations (surface water, foul water, oily water)
  • Installation of HV & LV ducting and draw pits
  • Installation of HV & LV precast troughs
  • Excavation works and safe digging in line with HSG47
  • Blinding and placement of concrete to foundations
  • Reinstatement of excavations (backfill and compaction)
  • Hand excavations
  • Vehicle marshalling / banksman duties
  • Operating plant including dumper and roller
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in civil works within a similar environment
  • Competence in operating dumper and roller
  • Strong understanding of safe digging practices (HSG47)
Desirable Certifications
  • NPORS or CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper
  • NPORS or CPCS Ride-On Roller
  • Manual Handling
  • HSG47 (2 Day)
  • NG Persons
