About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Flexographic Printer to join our production team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials in line with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 6 colour water-based Focus ProFlex flexographic printing press
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as required
- Prepare inks, plates, and substrates for production
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Troubleshoot machine issues and minimise downtime
- Ensuring that the area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a flexographic printer/operator
- Strong understanding of printing processes, inks, and substrates
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
- Team player
- Flexible approach to overtime if required
