Purpose of role:
You will be leading efforts to ensure Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) for our Kitt Green site by making data-driven, pragmatic, and timely decisions. You will always champion continuous improvement, maintaining the highest standards that protect the Kraft-Heinz brand while supporting the site.
- Risk Assessment & Leadership: Address quality and technical issues throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
- Quality Standards & Continuous Improvement: Drive the achievement of quality standards through regular review and enhancement of the Quality System at our Kitt Green site.
- Quality Control Framework: Develop and maintain frameworks to accurately identify and control the quality status of finished goods.
- Finished Product Assessment: Lead on the assessment and release of all finished products, ensuring compliance before customer distribution or appropriate downgrading.
- Quality critical metrics: Use key performance indicators to reduce incidents and risks, driving continuous improvement.
- Compliance Maintenance: Ensure compliance with internal and external food manufacturing standards, maintaining necessary accreditations.
- Team Leadership: Lead FSQ team members to achieve objectives.
What you will have:
- Degree in a science-related field or significant experience in the food safety sector.
- Proactive & dedicated approach with a drive for making impactful improvements.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to challenge and improve processes.
