We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Strategy Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role lies within the UKI business unit, reporting into our Head of Strategy and Revenue Growth, as part of our in-house Strategy & Consulting team. The delivery of key strategic projects against our 3-year strategy will be your primary goal. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders!
What you’ll do
You will play an instrumental part in shaping the direction of the UK business, working closely with the Leadership Team (UKI and Europe) as their trusted strategy partner. Projects often involve external benchmarking, partnered with lots of data analysis and stakeholder interviews, to then simplify the situation & recommendations into a few succinct slides, to help define the direction with the leadership team. You will have great cross-functional engagement and the chance to work with, and get to know, different parts of the business, whilst being able to focus on the long term!
Develop the UKI Strategy
- Where to play: which segments / channels / demand spaces / consumers are our priorities and why?
- How to win: how do we win in these spaces; what are the big initiatives across communication, innovation, revenue growth, channel execution, value engineering etc. that will deliver our ambition?
As an in-house consultant, deliver big strategic projects against our Strategy Plan. Projects can cover any area of our business, but the typical focus is on the growth priorities. Some example projects include:
- Brand Strategy: analysis of brand performance, definition of priority areas and initiatives to reach objectives
- Foodservice / Away from Home strategy: definition of priority accounts, and what it would take to win
- Value engineering benchmarking
What you’ll need
- Strong track record in Strategy roles (guideline 3 years consultancy, 5 years in-house)
- A background in a major Strategy Consultancy or FMCG Strategy function – note we will not be able to consider candidates that do not fit these criteria at this stage
- Ability to simplify and break down complex problems with imperfect data into clear recommendations
- Highly analytical skillset, not afraid of lots of (and often imperfect) data
- Great team player & ability to collaborate to reach a common goal
- Confident working with, and presenting to, senior stakeholders
- Experience with stakeholder interviews
- Bachelor’s Degree or above
What we offer you
- An ambitious employer with an industry-recognised career development pathway
- A meritocratic, pay for performance approach
- A fun, collaborative office culture that celebrates good food and good times with regular events and socials
- An active network of Business Resource Groups, sponsored by leadership, that promote education, celebration, & allyship, helping to create an inclusive work environment
- Flexible and hybrid working approach, including ability to work from abroad
- Family-friendly; market leading parental leave benefits & sponsored nursery scheme
- Wellbeing: Private medical cover & Digital GP, Comprehensive Life Assurance & Group Income Protection, Exclusive gym discounts & cycle to work scheme, Premium membership to Calm App, A variety of amazing sports teams & clubs!
