KTP Associate – AI for Occupational Health Automation

This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research while working closely with an industry partner to drive innovation and commercial impact.

The role is well-suited to a candidate with strong operational insight with ideally a Ph D in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Health Informatics or relevant field.

The position will lead a complex project requiring analytical thinking, technical capability and confidence to engage a variety of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate key competencies in Data Analytics & Machine Learning, Programming Skills, and familiarity with database design and AI/ML Model Development.

Skills & Experience

  • Data Analytics & Machine Learning: including model development using Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn, or Tensor flow
  • Programming Skills: Python, experienced in writing clean, modular, and reproducible code.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline development, data base design/querying/scripting, and API integration
  • AI/ML Model Development: build, train, evaluate, and interpret predictive models,
  • Data Management: CSV, SQL databases.
  • Awareness/experience in occupational health, public health, or clinical decision support systems
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage or model deployment
  • Experience with dashboards/data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash)
  • Software Engineering Practices: including agile project management.
  • AI Ethics/Bias Awareness: Data governance and regulatory requirements working with clinical and patient data.

To develop the capability of automated and accurate real-time data insights using Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to support accurate diagnosis and early interventions.
