Working Hours: Zero-hour contract /Out of hours / Weekends/ Bank Holidays
Salary: £14.00ph
About the Role
Knowle Country House is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and professional Waiting & Bar Staff to join our team.
This is a varied role working across our restaurant, bar, weddings, private functions and events. You will help provide a warm, welcoming and professional experience for all our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant & Waiting
- Welcome and look after customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and set tables before service.
- Take and serve food and drink orders.
- Ensure customers are happy with their meals and service.
- Clear and reset tables throughout service.
- Keep dining areas clean, tidy and well presented.
- Respond to customer requests and provide attentive service.
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and wider team.
Bar Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Take bar orders and serve drinks to tables when required.
- Keep the bar clean, tidy and well stocked.
- Replenish drinks, glassware and other supplies.
- Report stock shortages to the Manager or Supervisor.
- Follow responsible alcohol service and company procedures.
Weddings & Events
- Help set up and prepare rooms and event spaces.
- Provide professional service at weddings, private functions and events.
- Serve welcome drinks, canapés, meals and refreshments.
- Support bar service during events.
- Clear and reset tables throughout the event.
- Follow event timings and instructions from the management team.
