Permanent/full-time Location: On-site, Bolton (BL1)

Salary: £10.85-12.71 per hour

The Role: The Klinsmann Partnership is now seeking to grow its warehouse team further by appointing an additional Warehouse Operative. Reporting to the Warehouse Managers and working closely with the rest of the warehouse team, your day-to-day role will entail hands-on work to ensure that all incoming and outgoing warehouse deliveries are handled in an efficient and timely manner. Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Weekend/evening work is very occasionally asked for, but this is extremely rare.

Your responsibilities will include activities such as the following:

  • Prepare orders for online retail and wholesale distribution, ensuring timely dispatch
  • Ensure that you are doing your part to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory checks and investigate/report any discrepancies or defective products
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

We are looking for candidates to have some experience/attributes in the following key areas:

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a warehouse-based role, or potentially a similar entry level role in a relatable field e.g. security, maintenance, retail, construction or facilities management
  • Experience operating a forklift is essential. A relevant associated qualification would also be highly advantageous.
  • You will most likely be a high school graduate (GCSEs and/or A-levels), with any additional certification in warehouse operations/logistics a distinct advantage

You will need the following skills in order to succeed in this role:

  • Strong attention to detail for ensuring accuracy in order processing and inventory tracking
  • Good organizational skills to support efficient warehouse operations
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reasonable level of physical fitness/health and comfort with repetitive tasks
  • Proactive and positive attitude to learning in order to quickly get up to speed with warehouse processes and systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to meet operational goals
