The role involves working with staff and volunteers to ensure the reception runs smoothly and welcomes all patients, families, and visitors in a friendly and compassionate way. The role holder must have strong communication and listening skills and always maintain confidentiality.
Our Reception Coordinators provide the first point of contact at the hospice, which calls for discretion, diplomacy, excellent people skills and the ability to always demonstrate exceptional standards of communication.
The successful candidate will be approachable and friendly, able to work with a calm, organised approach and have an excellent telephone manner. Ideally you will already have experience of working in a busy reception environment.
