We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary standard of spoken English, as described under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, the Public Sector fluency duty that requires state funded schools to ensure candidates for their customer facing roles have the necessary standard of spoken English (or English or Welsh in Wales).

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer first aid to pupils and staff as required.
  • Support students with ongoing medical needs and ensure their Health Care Plans are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of medical incidents and treatments.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external health professionals when necessary.
  • Promote a safe and healthy school environment.

Requirements

  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience with administering medication.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
