The prime responsibility of this post is to design an inspiring curriculum in line with our school and trust curriculum vision. The role will support the enterprise department in providing high quality teaching and learning to maximise every student's potential. Innovation and vision are required to strengthen and enhance the school's curriculum implementation via the lens of a subject discipline, creating ambitious academic outcomes for our comprehensive student body.
Our best subject leaders are passionate about their curriculum, informed by the latest curriculum research, committed, self-reflective, kind, community spirited and undertake their duties with attention to detail and consistently high standards.
We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary standard of spoken English, as described under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, the Public Sector fluency duty that requires state funded schools to ensure candidates for their customer facing roles have the necessary standard of spoken English (or English or Welsh in Wales).
