The Kingston Academy is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join our ambitious and high-performing PE department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3-5, delivering high-quality PE lessons that promote physical confidence, wellbeing, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and reflective teacher with strong subject knowledge, high expectations, and the ability to motivate and support all learners to achieve their potential. As a visible female role model within the department, they will play an important part in encouraging participation and engagement in sport among female students, contributing to an inclusive and aspirational sporting culture across the school.
In addition to curriculum teaching, the role includes contributing to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular clubs, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities. Working collaboratively within the PE team, the successful candidate will help foster a culture of excellence, positive relationships, and enthusiasm for sport within our vibrant school community.

Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality PE lessons for Key Stages 3-5.

Our selection procedure will aim to identify with rigour whether the candidate fulfils the requirements of the post and will include the consideration of the candidate’s suitability to work with children and young people. The process will include:
- Lesson Observation.
- Meeting with a panel of our pupils for informal question and answer session.
- Interview with Head Teacher and/or Senior staff.
