As a world-renowned boys' school, we educate 1,700 pupils aged 7 to 18, alongside a co-educational kindergarten and infants' school, DUCKS, with 230 young learners. We wish to appoint a first-rate graduate for September 2026 to teach English across the College, from Lower School to GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will join a collegial and high-achieving department of thirteen staff with wide-ranging academic interests. The department is committed to fostering a love of literature and excellence in written and spoken expression through a diverse, inclusive and academically ambitious curriculum. At Key Stage Three, pupils follow a departmentally devised programme that builds strong foundations in literary knowledge and critical thinking. Pupils go on to study Edexcel IGCSE English Language and Literature, with English Literature at A Level (OCR) a popular choice.
