About the Role
Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is a world leader in Character Education and runs a prestigious Summer School for children aged 8‑16 from approximately 40 nationalities. As an Outdoor Education Instructor you will play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students.
Course Dates: Tues 30 June 2026 – Mon 3 Aug 2026.
Qualifications:
- Relevant broad outdoor education experience and qualifications.
- Experience working in an education or boarding school environment.
- Qualifications in a minimum of two different disciplines from the following list:
- Climbing Wall Instructor
- Rock Climbing Instructor
- Lowland Leader
- Hill and Moorland Leader
- Summer Mountain Leader
- Cycle Ride Leader
- Mountain Bike Leader – Level 2
- Paddle Sports Instructor (Assessed in Kayak)
- Paddle Sports Leader (Assessed in Kayak)
- Touring Leader (Assessed in Kayak)
- Orienteering Instructor Award
- Archery UK Instructor
Salary and Benefits: Residential accommodation with full board and a competitive salary based on experience.
