Kick‑start your career in education and sport with a Graduate Assistant role in the Prep School at Brentwood School. Designed for aspiring teachers and coaches, this position offers a supportive and high‑quality environment to develop your professional skills. You will play an active role in delivering an engaging PE, Games and co‑curriculum sport programme, helping to inspire a lifelong love of physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons and support teaching through mentoring and group work in the Prep School.
- Co‑coach cricket, football, hockey, netball and rugby, contributing to team practices, fixtures and wider school sport.
- Progress gradually to team and solo teaching responsibilities across the prep level.
- Take on a full‑time, one‑year term‑time role (plus additional weeks as required) with responsibilities including team leadership, Saturday fixtures, administrative support and House involvement.
- Gain experience within the Senior School and develop a holistic understanding of education across the 3–18 age range.
Requirements
- Graduate level education with a passion for sport and teaching.
- Ability to coach multiple sports and support pupils in developing sporting skills.
