We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and dynamic Science Technician to support our students and staff in the Chemistry department. This is an exciting opportunity, especially for a Science graduate, to join a busy, thriving Science department. You will work as part of a three‑strong technician team who support practical work across Key Stage 3‑5 in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The laboratories are extremely well resourced and practical work is at the heart of our curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and organising practical resources and equipment to support teachers in the Chemistry department.
- Working collaboratively and positively with two other science technicians and teaching staff across the Science department.
- Ensuring sound understanding of health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Laboratory experience essential.
- Experience working in a school or college environment beneficial but not essential.
- Full safeguarding training will be provided as part of induction.
