AtInsignis Academy Trust we are looking for a Head of Department (Geography) forThe Kingsbrook School. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join thegrowing Geography department in this flagship new school in Aylesbury, withopportunity to bring ideas and contribute to the continued development of thecurriculum, culture and ethos of the school and department at it enters it'sfourth year of operation in .
Opened in September 2022 to 180 year 7 students,the school will grow by each year of entry until full in , and so newmembers of the team are required to support our next cohort. Located at theheart of the Kingsbrook Estate in Aylesbury, the school boasts state of the artfacilities across the mainstream school and a purpose built Inclusion Unit forchildren with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will need to have a strong subject knowledge and be able toteach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills, a commitment to charactereducation and want to get actively involved with establishing anoutstanding school.
The Kingsbrook School requires all of its teachers to bewell-qualified, enthusiastic professionals, who are eager and committed tosupporting students' education and personal development.
