About the role

As Head of Delivery for the West Midlands, you will lead teams and partners across a complex region to deliver measurable outcomes for young people. You will translate strategy into delivery at scale, ensuring our programmes consistently reach priority groups and support clear progression into education, employment and enterprise. Based in the heart of Digbeth, you will shape delivery that responds to local need while contributing to national priorities. You will be accountable for delivery performance across the region, including outcomes, reach and income. This includes setting clear expectations, driving performance, and taking decisive action where delivery falls short. You will also lead relationships across the public, private and voluntary sectors, ensuring high standards of safeguarding, quality and inclusion. This role suits an experienced senior leader who is comfortable with complexity, driven by outcomes, and able to balance long‑term thinking with strong operational delivery.

Key qualifications

  • Significant experience leading multi‑site or regional teams delivering at scale
  • A proven track record of achieving and improving performance against KPIs
  • Experience leading delivery through partners and stakeholders to achieve measurable results
  • Experience using data to drive decisions and improve performance outcomes
  • Track record of building accountable, high‑performing teams
  • Experience translating understanding of barriers facing young people into inclusive delivery

What the ideal candidate will do

  • Lead with clarity, accountability and a focus on measurable outcomes
  • Have experience delivering results at scale across multiple locations or partners
  • Be confident holding teams and stakeholders to account for performance
  • Prioritise relationships that unlock reach, income and impact
  • Use data to actively drive improvement, not just monitor performance
  • Be comfortable making difficult decisions to protect quality, safeguarding and outcomes

Benefits

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays; office closure between Christmas and New Year
  • Flexible working – a mix of office days and working from home, where operationally possible
  • Opportunity to volunteer for and attend events such as the Trust Awards, Pride and other community events
  • In‑house learning platform to develop your skills
  • Benefits platform offering health, financial well‑being support and discounts on restaurants, shops and cinemas
  • Personal development opportunities through networks such as KT CAN, KT GEN, KT DAWN and PULSE
  • Family leave: 13 weeks full pay and 13 weeks half pay for maternity and adoption; 8 weeks full pay for paternity
  • Interest‑free season ticket loans
  • Trust contribution of 5% of your salary to the Trust Pension Scheme
  • Generous life assurance cover (4× annual salary)
