Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Netball Coach to join our sports team and support the delivery of high-quality netball coaching across the school.

Working with players of varying ages and abilities, you will plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions, developing technical skills, tactical understanding and overall performance. You will also prepare and lead teams for fixtures, tournaments and competitions, providing constructive feedback and encouraging high standards of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.

The successful candidate will be a positive and inspiring role model with a genuine enthusiasm for developing young players.

The role will include coaching during games afternoons, together with attendance at fixtures, tournaments and other sporting events, including weekends as required.

The post will close once a suitable candidate has been appointed; therefore, early applications are encouraged.

The King’s School is committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We adopt a fair, robust and consistent recruitment process which is in line with the statutory Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. This includes online checks for shortlisted candidates.

All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.
