For September 2026 we wish to appoint a Teacher of Art to join a highly successful department. We are looking for a talented classroom practitioner who can be creative, dynamic, can communicate their passion to all students, and teach using a student-centred approach. All classes are mixed ability, so the successful candidate will need to differentiate in order to support and stretch students.

We are looking to appoint a teacher who can contribute to GCSE and possibly A Level, a team player who can communicate an enthusiasm and depth of subject knowledge, forming positive relationships with the students they teach. Strong subject knowledge is obviously crucial but a commitment to the school’s philosophy of ‘Achievement for All’, a passion for the subject and a desire to work in an innovative and supportive team are also vital.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a very experienced and supportive department with a commitment to deliver Art. We offer a very strong support programme for teachers who are starting their career and working towards ECT status or returning to teaching after a break.
