Are you an experienced KS1 Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting primary teachers with the delivery of class content for pupils aged 4-7 years and a passion for supporting young people in their Christian faith? Do you want to join a supportive and welcoming school community where staff are encouraged to live out their personal faith in Jesus? Due to increasing pupil numbers, we are expanding our SEND team and are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with HLTA experience to join us in our primary classes. This role will specifically support pupils in Key Stage 1.
Responsibilities
- The role involves supporting the delivery of class content for KS1 pupils and assisting the teacher with pupils who have additional needs.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible working approach and the ability to deliver and lead small group work.
Qualifications
- Previous and relevant classroom experience supporting pupils with additional needs (Key Stage 1)
- A flexible working approach and ability to deliver and lead small group work
- HLTA or PPA cover experience
Full-time hours are 37.5 per week (8am-4pm). Subject to satisfactory safer recruitment checks; start after the February half term.
