The Director of Sport is a leadership role with operational responsibility for the delivery, development and promotion of sport and physical education from Reception through to Upper Sixth. Reporting to the Director of the Co-Curriculum, the postholder will provide clear vision, strong leadership and day-to-day oversight to ensure that sport at King's is aspirational, inclusive and embedded at the heart of school life.
This role is central to sustaining and enhancing the school's strong sporting ethos, ensuring that all pupils understand and experience the physical, mental and social benefits of lifelong participation in sport. The Director of Sport will work closely with academic, pastoral and operational colleagues to deliver a high quality, well resourced and forward thinking programme that reflects the school's values and supports pupil wellbeing, achievement and personal development.
