We’re looking for a dedicated individual to maintain a safe, well‑maintained, and clean environment throughout Shiplake College. The role involves working 30 hours a week all year round, starting as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Efficient and prompt cleaning of day and boarding houses, offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, changing rooms, and other areas of the college.
- Tasks include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Working on our onsite laundry rota, washing, drying, and organising the return of laundry to the appropriate locations across the college.
Candidates must be dependable and trustworthy, able to work independently and as part of a larger team. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.
Shiplake College offers a contributory pension scheme, free lunches, and access to on‑site gym facilities and open‑air swimming pool during the summer months. Staff are encouraged to make the most of our riverside location.
