We are looking for a reliable and approachable Bar Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the bar. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a community setting and can take pride in maintaining a well-run, friendly space. Flexibility and work-life balance are important.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the bar
- Supporting and supervising bar staff and volunteers – manage staff Rota's
- Managing stock control and placing orders
- Cash handling and basic record keeping
- Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere
- Supporting club events and social activities
- Working with the committee to maintain smooth operations
- Previous bar or hospitality experience
- Friendly, reliable, and community-minded
- Organised and able to work independently
- Comfortable managing stock and basic admin tasks
- Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends
- Salary £26,000 – £30,000 pro rata
