We are seeking a skilled and motivated practitioner to join King's Academy Bay House as Resourced Provision Manager with whole‑school responsibility for transition. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the development and day‑to‑day running of our Autism Resourced Provision while also shaping a high‑quality transition experience for all pupils joining Year 7.
In this role, you will lead the operational delivery of the Resourced Provision, ensuring that systems, staffing and routines are well organised, responsive and centred around the needs of pupils with SEND. You will work directly with pupils, supporting their learning, regulation and independence, while also coordinating the work of support staff to ensure consistency and high‑quality provision.
Alongside this, you will take a lead role in coordinating transition from KS2 to KS3 across the school. You will build strong relationships with feeder primary schools, work closely with families and external professionals, and ensure that all pupils, particularly those with additional needs, experience a carefully planned and supported move to secondary school.
Working closely with the SENCo and wider inclusion team, you will contribute to the development of SEND provision across the school, supporting EHCP processes, monitoring interventions and helping to ensure that every pupil receives the support they need to succeed. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and committed to inclusive education.
