Are you a caring, organised and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young people? As the school's Student Welfare Administrator Assistant, you will:
- Deliver first aid and respond confidently to medical incidents.
- Support students with medical conditions and administer medication in line with school policies.
- Help manage individual healthcare plans and maintain accurate medical records.
- Assist with school vaccination programmes and support anxious or unwell students.
- Maintain first aid supplies, inhalers and Epi Pens across the school.
- Provide dedicated support to a student with physical needs, promoting independence and ensuring they can fully access school life.
- Receive full training, including moving and handling, hoisting and specialist care procedures.
- Work closely with parents, staff and healthcare professionals to provide outstanding student care.
We expect calm, caring and approachable under pressure, highly organised with excellent attention to detail, a confident communicator who builds positive relationships, committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing, and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Experience in education, healthcare or a care setting is desirable, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right values, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting young people.
