The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide discreet one-to-one support throughout the school day.
  • Support the student to move safely around the school and access lessons, practical subjects, and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist with personal and intimate care in line with agreed care plans, policies and specialist training.
  • Support moving and handling procedures, including hoisting and the use of specialist equipment following full training.
  • Assist with physiotherapy and postural management programmes as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Encourage independence, confidence and self‑advocacy while providing the right level of support.
  • Monitor the student's wellbeing and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents where appropriate.
  • Training

Full training provided. Previous experience in moving and handling or intimate care is welcomed but not essential.

  • We will provide comprehensive training, including: Moving and handling, Hoisting and specialist equipment, Personal and intimate care, Safeguarding, Pupil‑specific care procedures.
