The Role You will deliver dynamic and exciting French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring a love of languages and culture and contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible for all students.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish
- Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to engage students and promote progress
- Foster an enthusiasm for languages and cultural understanding
- Track and support students' progress, providing targeted intervention where necessary
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and enrich the MFL curriculum
- Participate in school events, trips and activities linked to MFL
What We're Looking For
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- A degree in a relevant subject
- Evidence of professional development relevant to MFL
- Successful teaching experience in French and Spanish, ideally across KS3 and KS4
- Experience of developing engaging resources and schemes of work
- Experience of assessing and tracking student progress
