The Role

  • To deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Design Technology across key stages, with a specialism in one or more of the following: product design, graphics, textiles, or food.
  • To inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, fostering a love of learning and creativity in the subject.
  • You will contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum including:
  • A qualified teacher with a passion for Design Technology.
  • Experience or specialism in one or more of: product design, graphics, textiles, or food.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress of students.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and enrichment opportunities.
  • Take a proactive approach to your own professional development and share best practice with the team.
  • Play an active role in extra-curricular clubs, competitions, and school events related to DT.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting our ethos and values.
