Looking for a lifestyle change?
A live-in cook-housekeeper-groundsman-driver couple is required for the private second home of the principals, set on a holiday/sporting estate 30 miles from Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
- Modern accommodation inclusive of Internet and all normal domestic services
- Variable work, both indoors and within the grounds, including some involvement in the estates business in a support capacity
- Catering normally just for the two principals when resident, with family/friends occasionally staying
- Average 40 hours per 5.5 day week with some flexibility; 28 days holiday p.a.
- Joint salary £47 - £51,000 gross per annum, depending on relevant skills and experience.
- No child or pet care involved.
Candidates should be non-smokers with no pets or dependents, and hold clean driving licences.
The role is ideal for those who:

- maintain a high standard in all aspects of housekeeping and routine maintenance
- appreciate a rural working environment
Though the preference is for a couple seeking a long-term placement, a seasonal contract would also be considered. Other staff live and work on the estate. This couple role has become available unexpectedly, so initial interviews can be arranged immediately.
