The Position

We are looking for casual matchday stewards who are members of the armed forces community. Your top priority will be fulfilling safety and security duties, providing the best-in-class service to stadium attendees and enhancing the supporter and customer experience. You will be positioned in various locations around the stadium staffing the turnstiles, exit gates, the stands etc. You will need to be available for match-days, which could be during the evening or at weekends. This is a great opportunity for those who want to enjoy flexibility in their work patterns, and some earn extra money.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide information and assistance to spectators and staff arriving at the Kia Oval.
  • Check tickets of all spectators arriving at the venue. If they are in an incorrect location, redirect them accordingly.
  • Monitor and control spectators during ingress and egress to limit overcrowding.
  • Deal with spectator/crowd disruptions.
  • Assist with the evacuation of the venue and direct spectators to the relevant holding areas as directed by your supervisor.
  • Report any incidents or potential hazards to your supervisor or control room and take any immediate action that may be needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Member of the armed forces community.
  • Candidates must be aged 18 or over.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
