About the Role
Keystone Lintels is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role within our yard, supporting the smooth and efficient movement, storage and preparation of lintels and materials. You’ll be part of a busy team where safety, quality and teamwork are key. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Manually selecting products from racking and/or pick locations based on required size, type, quantity and quality requirements.
- Adhering to strict Quality Assurance procedures and extensive personal care/accountability for all orders picked.
- Delivering packed items correctly to staging area for delivery.
- Safely operating and handling equipment to ensure that all related safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times.
- Stock replenishment.
- Self-management of allocated picking list orders.
- Ensuring picking targets are consistently completed.
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards.
- Securing banding/wrapping of product for safe shipping.
- Loading / Unloading delivery vehicles where applicable.
- Adhering to set housekeeping practices at all times.
- Performing other general warehouse duties as needed.
