About the Role
At IG Lintels, we’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the month-end process, oversee the General Ledger team, ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounts and provide financial insight that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
- What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with finance, operations, procurement, transport teams and senior leadership, you’ll help drive cost control, efficiency and improved financial performance.
- Own the month-end process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead, support and develop the team and maintain strong financial controls.
- Manage rebate liabilities, inventory valuation and cost allocation.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
- Lead budgets and forecasts, monitoring P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow performance.
- Analyse production and operational costs, identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities and provide actionable insights.
- Business partner with transport, operational and commercial teams, providing insight and challenging assumptions.
- Produce financial and cost performance reports for senior management.
- Oversee the annual audit and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
- Utilise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to improve reporting and cost tracking and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data on the system.
- Ensure adherence to reporting requirements and deadlines on monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Support ad hoc analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills will be important, as you’ll work closely with teams across the business and need to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
You’ll be proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities, with a genuine drive to improve processes, identify efficiencies and make a positive impact on business performance.

- What we’re looking for
- Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction is essential.
- Strong knowledge of variance analysis, inventory accounting and rebate liabilities.
- Proven business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP is preferred.
- Power BI experience is preferred but not essential.
